The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching its 5th special Ramayana train tour since the inauguration of Ayodhya\u2019s Ram temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour, named “Shri Ramayana Yatra,” will begin on July 25, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IRCTC Announces 5th \u2018Shri Ramayana Yatra\u2019 Train Tour Starting July 25, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will cover over 30 destinations linked to the life of Lord Ram, starting from Ayodhya and continuing<\/a> to Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Buxar, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, and ending in Rameshwaram before returning to Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IRCTC officials report that the inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple has significantly boosted religious and cultural tourism in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Since the inauguration, this is the 5th Ramayan tour which we are holding and all our previous tours received encouraging response from the travellers and pilgrims,” said an IRCTC official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour pricing is as follows: \u20b91,17,975 per person for 3 AC, \u20b91,40,120 for 2 AC, \u20b91,66,380 for 1 AC cabin, and \u20b91,79,515 for 1 AC coupe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The package includes train travel in the selected class, accommodation in 3-star hotels for all AC classes, all vegetarian meals, transfers, sightseeing in AC buses, travel insurance, and services of IRCTC tour managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour will depart from Delhi\u2019s Safdarjung Railway Station and will be operated on the Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train features modern facilities such as two restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor-based washrooms, and foot massagers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fully air-conditioned train offers three accommodation types: 1st AC, 2nd AC, and 3rd AC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Security is enhanced with CCTV cameras and security guards in each coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

17-Day Ramayana Yatra to Begin in Ayodhya with Visits to Key Ram Janmabhoomi Sites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 17-day tour begins in Ayodhya, where passengers will visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, Hanuman Garhi, and Ram Ki Paidi (Saryu Ghat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next stop is Bharat Mandir at Nandigram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitamarhi in Bihar follows, where tourists will visit Sita\u2019s birthplace and then travel by road to the Ram Janki Temple in Janakpur, Nepal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The train then moves to Buxar, with visits to Ramrekha Ghat and Rameshwarnath Temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Varanasi, tourists will see the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and corridor, Tulsi Mandir, Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir, and the Ganga Aarti ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour continues by road to Prayag, Shringverpur, and Chitrakoot, with overnight stays provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Chitrakoot, the train travels to Nashik in Maharashtra, where passengers will visit Trimbakeshwar Temple and the Panchvati area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hampi is the next stop, believed to be the ancient city of Kishkindha. Tourists will see Anjaneya Hill (Hanuman\u2019s birthplace), Vitthala Temple, and Virupaksha Temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final destination is Rameshwaram, where visits include Ramanathaswamy Temple and Dhanushkodi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tour concludes with the return to Delhi on the 17th day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
