Hinjawadi, known as Pune\u2019s biggest IT hub, sees thousands of commuters every day. This metro line is being seen as a <strong>critical solution<\/strong> to ease the load on city roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Public-Private Partnership for Execution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is being executed by the <strong>Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA)<\/strong> in partnership with <strong>Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited (PITCRL)<\/strong> under a <strong>Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model<\/strong>. Construction began on <strong>25th November 2021<\/strong> and is on track to be completed by <strong>March 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>23.3 Km Route With 23 Modern Stations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once completed, <strong>Metro Line 3 will span 23.3 kilometers<\/strong> and include <strong>23 elevated stations<\/strong>. The route will offer multiple <strong>interchanges with existing metro lines<\/strong>, enhancing connectivity throughout the region. This is part of a larger urban mobility plan that aims to create a <strong>multi-modal transport network<\/strong> across Pune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Modern Coaches and Fast Connectivity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Each metro train will have <strong>three fully air-conditioned coaches<\/strong>, with a <strong>capacity of approximately 1,000 passengers<\/strong>. These trains are designed to operate at speeds of up to <strong>80 km per hour<\/strong>, drastically cutting down travel time for office-goers and daily commuters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trial Run Signals Rapid Progress<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The trial run was conducted from <strong>Maan Depot to PMR 4 Station<\/strong>. A PMRDA spokesperson said, \u201cPune Metro Line 3 is progressing at a record pace.
