{"id":1297252,"date":"2025-07-04T09:41:27","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T04:11:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1297252"},"modified":"2025-07-04T09:42:04","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T04:12:04","slug":"delhi-jaipur-travel-time-reduces-to-3-hours-find-out-how","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/delhi-jaipur-travel-time-reduces-to-3-hours-find-out-how\/","title":{"rendered":"Delhi &#8211; Jaipur Travel Time Reduces To 3 Hours: Find Out How?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A trial run began on the Bandikui-Jaipur Link Expressway on Wednesday, connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new expressway will reduce the travel time from Jaipur to Delhi to just 2.5 to 3 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"517\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-1024x517.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1297256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-1024x517.png 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-300x152.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-768x388.png 768w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-1536x776.png 1536w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-04-at-9.40.01\u202fAM-2048x1034.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Trial Run Begins on Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway, Cutting Jaipur-Delhi Travel to 3 Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The trial started at 8 a.m., and no toll will be charged during the ten-day trial period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway is undergoing quality checks and testing of facilities during the trial to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/india-news\/bandikui-jaipur-link-expressway-news-delhi-jaipur-commute-now-in-3-hours-trial-run-on-expressway-link-begins-8812817\">identify<\/a> and fix any shortcomings before official toll collection begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day, the expressway was opened directly for traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Khuri Interchange is now operational to manage traffic from the Manoharpur-Kauthun highway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the trial run proceeds smoothly, traffic from other interchanges will be allowed on the expressway within a day or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway is a four-lane, 67-kilometre-long, access-controlled road stretching from Bandikui in Dausa district to Jaipur in Rajasthan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The construction of the expressway was completed ahead of schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vehicles will be allowed to travel at speeds of up to 120 km\/h.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once fully operational, the expressway will reduce travel time between Bandikui and Jaipur to 25\u201330 minutes, down from over an hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This reduction will further shorten the overall Jaipur to Delhi journey time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel time from Gurugram to Bandikui will also drop to just three hours due to the expressway\u2019s link with the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway connects with multiple routes, including the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and Manoharpur-Kauthun Highway via the Khuri Interchange, with more interchanges to open soon based on trial results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;All preparations for toll collection are complete. As soon as we receive the green signal from higher authorities, toll operations will commence,&#8221; said B.S. Joiya, Project Director, NHAI Dausa Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 66.91-km Bandikui-Jaipur Expressway has been built at a cost of \u20b91,368 crore, according to NHAI officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the trial phase, all vehicles except tractors, motorcycles, and other restricted categories are allowed to use the road without interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposed toll rates for private cars include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u20b9150 for the Jaipur\u2013Bandikui stretch (66.91 km),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20b9550\u2013\u20b9560 for the Jaipur\u2013Bandikui\u2013Sohna route,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20b9130 for the Sohna\u2013Gurugram six-lane highway,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20b9680\u2013\u20b9690 in total between Jaipur and Delhi.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway is expected to significantly reduce travel time once fully functional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/india\/delhi-to-jaipur-in-2-5-hours-new-expressway-link-promises-faster-smoother-travel-from-june\/articleshow\/120476844.cms?from=mdr\">Image Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A trial run began on the Bandikui-Jaipur Link Expressway on Wednesday, connecting the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to Jaipur.
