Chief among them is the <strong>\u2018Mukhya Mantri Pratigya\u2019<\/strong> scheme, aimed at providing <strong>financial support to young individuals<\/strong> seeking internship opportunities after completing their education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"611\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-03-at-11.08.40\u202fAM-1-1024x611.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1297229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-03-at-11.08.40\u202fAM-1-1024x611.png 1024w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-03-at-11.08.40\u202fAM-1-300x179.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-03-at-11.08.40\u202fAM-1-768x458.png 768w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Screenshot-2025-07-03-at-11.08.40\u202fAM-1.png 1522w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this scheme, <strong>youths aged 18 to 28<\/strong>, who have passed Class 12, obtained ITI diplomas, or are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/india-news\/bihar-govt-launches-scheme-to-financially-support-youths-for-carrying-out-internships-101751376030674.html\">graduates<\/a> or postgraduates, will be eligible for monthly financial assistance during internships ranging from <strong>3 to 12 months<\/strong>. The support varies by qualification:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u20b94,000\/month for Class 12 pass<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20b95,000\/month for ITI diploma holders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20b96,000\/month for graduates and postgraduates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, those opting for internships <strong>outside their home district<\/strong> will get an extra \u20b92,000 per month, while those interning <strong>outside the state<\/strong> will receive \u20b95,000 monthly as <strong>livelihood support<\/strong>, capped at three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All payments will be <strong>directly credited to the beneficiaries\u2019 bank accounts<\/strong>, and a <strong>committee led by the Development Commissioner<\/strong> will oversee the implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside youth development, the Cabinet also approved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mukhya Mantri Kalakar Pension Yojana<\/strong>, which grants <strong>\u20b93,000\/month pension<\/strong> to senior artists (50+ years) with at least 10 years of contribution to traditional or classical arts and annual income below \u20b91.2 lakh.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mukhya Mantri Guru-Shishya Parampara Yojana<\/strong>, which supports endangered art forms by offering <strong>two-year mentorships<\/strong>. Gurus will get \u20b915,000\/month, musicians \u20b97,500, and pupils \u20b93,000. A total of \u20b91.11 crore has been sanctioned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the healthcare domain, the <strong>Mukhya Mantri Chikitsa Sahayta Kosh<\/strong> will now cover <strong>Panchayati Raj Institution members<\/strong>, offering financial help for surgeries such as cancer, heart, kidney transplants, and more\u2014ranging from \u20b920,000 to \u20b93 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the Cabinet approved amendments to <strong>Bihar Factory Rules, 1950<\/strong>, allowing women (excluding pregnant and lactating mothers) to work in hazardous factories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, new rules were passed to offer <strong>domestic help and telecommunication reimbursements<\/strong> for <strong>retired chief justices and high court judges<\/strong>, with allowances up to \u20b960,000\/month for help and \u20b915,000\/month for telecom-related expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a major step to tackle youth unemployment and boost cultural preservation, the Bihar government has announced multiple welfare schemes during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
