This includes supply of rolling stock, signalling, telecom, screen doors, depot machinery, and five years of maintenance. L&amp;T also bagged a <strong>\u20b9188.59 crore<\/strong> order for track work on the same line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>NCC and IRCON Also Win Key Deals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NCC Ltd<\/strong> received the <strong>second-largest contract<\/strong>\u2014<strong>\u20b92,269.66 crore<\/strong> for <strong>Metro Line 6<\/strong>, which includes rolling stock, telecom, and depot systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IRCON International Ltd<\/strong> was awarded a <strong>\u20b9668.15 crore<\/strong> contract for <strong>traction and electrical systems<\/strong> for Line 6.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These contracts aim to ensure seamless infrastructure development and integrated growth of Mumbai\u2019s public transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Focus on Integrated Transport Vision<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>MMRDA Commissioner <strong>Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee<\/strong> stated, \u201cEach project approved today has been meticulously evaluated to ensure it contributes meaningfully to the integrated growth of Mumbai\u2019s transport infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these new approvals, Mumbai is poised to witness accelerated Metro execution, better interconnectivity, and a smoother commuter experience in the coming years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In a significant infrastructure move, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has approved projects exceeding \u20b912,000 crore to speed up Metro development across the Mumbai region.
