The \u2018Talliki Vandanam\u2019<\/strong> scheme is one of the major welfare commitments under Naidu’s \u2018Super Six\u2019<\/strong> agenda. As per the official order, the government will provide Rs 15,000 per year per child<\/strong> to every eligible mother or guardian whose children are studying from Class I to Class XII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This financial aid is applicable irrespective of the number of children<\/strong> in a household, making it a significant support system for families across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empowering Mothers, Boosting Education<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The core objective of the scheme is to empower mothers<\/strong> by recognising their essential role<\/a> in their children\u2019s education. By directly involving mothers, the government aims to create a more inclusive and participative educational environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Kona Sasidhar, Secretary to the Government, this scheme will enhance access to education and improve learning outcomes by encouraging consistent school attendance and reducing dropout rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 67 Lakh Students and 43 Lakh Mothers to Benefit<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The scale of the scheme is massive<\/strong>\u2014more than 67 lakh students and 43 lakh mothers<\/strong> are expected to benefit. The government has even included expected enrollments into Class I and junior intermediate levels to expand the reach of this welfare initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rs 2000 Deduction for Educational Ecosystem Development<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Out of the annual Rs 15,000 aid, Rs 2,000 will be deducted at source<\/strong> to fund improvements in school infrastructure, hygiene, and sanitation. This strategic allocation aims to build a more robust educational ecosystem for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inclusive Across School Types<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The scheme is not limited to government schools. It extends to private aided and unaided schools and junior colleges<\/strong>, making it truly universal in scope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state government has fixed a timeline between June 12 and July 5<\/strong> for disbursing the funds and completing the implementation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
