In response, <strong>Madhya Pradesh PWD Minister Rakesh Singh<\/strong> assured the public that all <strong>technical considerations<\/strong> were taken into account and said the matter would be reviewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He, however, dismissed the allegations as <strong>politically motivated<\/strong>, stating, \u201cIf there are such allegations, we will look into it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Bridge Aims to Ease Decade-Long Traffic Woes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the controversy, the <strong>648-metre-long<\/strong>, <strong>8.5-metre-wide<\/strong> overbridge is part of a larger infrastructure push aimed at easing traffic in Bhopal\u2019s congested zones, such as <strong>Mahamai Ka Bagh, Pushpa Nagar, and the railway station area<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was <strong>conceived to benefit three lakh commuters daily<\/strong> by eliminating wait times at level crossings and reducing long detours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delays Marred the Project Timeline<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Although construction began in <strong>March 2023<\/strong> and was initially slated for <strong>18 months<\/strong>, the project has taken over <strong>36 months<\/strong> to approach completion.
