The policy applies retrospectively from <strong>January 1, 2025<\/strong>, allowing claims for interviews conducted over the past five months. Only senior and mid-level employees involved in lateral recruitment are eligible under this scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Encouraging Talent Acquisition Through Internal Support<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The policy is designed to <strong>encourage team leads and managers<\/strong> to actively participate in hiring top external talent. Previously, Infosys offered <strong>compensatory leaves<\/strong> for interviews conducted on weekends, especially on-campus sessions. The shift to monetary rewards aligns with the company\u2019s broader focus on <strong>performance recognition<\/strong> and efficient talent acquisition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Employees working in HR and talent acquisition roles are <strong>excluded<\/strong> from the incentive scheme. Also, <strong>no reward will be granted<\/strong> if a candidate does not show up or the interview gets canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Response to Employee Dissatisfaction?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This new initiative comes amid concerns over <strong>lower-than-expected pay hikes<\/strong> and performance bonuses. Infosys employees reportedly received <strong>5\u20138 percent hikes<\/strong> for FY 2024, with <strong>lower bonus payouts<\/strong> in Q4 of FY 2025. The interview reward policy may be a <strong>strategic gesture<\/strong> to address employee dissatisfaction and retain senior talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CEO\u2019s Salary Hike Draws Contrast<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding to the internal buzz, Infosys CEO <strong>Salil Parekh received a 22 percent salary hike<\/strong>, taking his total compensation to <strong>Rs 80.62 crore<\/strong> for FY 2026. His revised salary includes monetary compensation and <strong>3.82 lakh restricted stock units (RSUs)<\/strong>.
