Stretching <strong>12.75 km<\/strong> and spanning <strong>six lanes<\/strong>, this elevated corridor is set to become <strong>India\u2019s longest flyover<\/strong>, revolutionizing connectivity in southern India. Construction efforts are in full swing, supported by a workforce of <strong>2,500 labourers<\/strong> and <strong>350 machines<\/strong> operating round the clock. <strong>All 360 pillars and 3,000 girders<\/strong> have been constructed, and <strong>girder erection is currently underway<\/strong>. Additionally, <strong>three exit ramps and a toll plaza<\/strong> are under development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Boost to Inter-State Travel and Trade<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once operational, the elevated corridor will significantly enhance road travel between <strong>Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala<\/strong>, ensuring <strong>faster, smoother, and cost-effective transportation<\/strong> across state borders. This will not only benefit commuters but also reduce fuel consumption and boost regional trade and logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Traffic Woes During Construction<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the long-term benefits, the ongoing construction has created serious <strong>traffic congestion<\/strong> on the existing four-lane stretch of NH 66. Daily commuters face <strong>long tailbacks and delays<\/strong>, turning the area into a choke point.
