AirFiber 5G Internet Leading the Digital Transformation in Punjab: Reliance Jio<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio positions itself as a driving force in reshaping digital life across Punjab, aligning with national goals <\/a>such as Digital India and Viksit Bharat by 2047.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of February 2025, the digital population of India reached 806 million active users, supported by increasing internet penetration and the Digital India initiative, according to Statista and Jio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its inception, Jio claims to handle nearly 60% of India\u2019s mobile data traffic, as stated in a blog post dated April 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio emphasizes that it is \u201csuccessfully addressing the challenge of last-mile<\/a> connectivity\u201d through AirFiber, especially in remote areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Punjab, AirFiber services have expanded to border villages like Manwal Mangwal, Dera Baba Nanak, and Kalewala, integrating these regions into the digital network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio states: \u201cEarlier, these areas lacked reliable internet, hampering internet connectivity. With the introduction of JioAirFiber, the entire Punjab including these villages now enjoying truly uninterrupted super-fast 5G internet\u2014improving the digital life, and infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jio’s rural plans start Rs 599<\/a>, as per Airfiber listings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
