These upgrades are essential for handling advanced trains like <strong>Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat<\/strong>, which require specialized infrastructure and high-power supply systems for safe and efficient maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Raxaul Set to Become a Maintenance Hub<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These developments mark a strategic plan to transform <strong>Raxaul station into a major maintenance and operations hub<\/strong> for premium trains in the region. Railway officials believe this will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Boost reliability and punctuality of services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve availability of modern trainsets in the region<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen regional connectivity across the India-Nepal border<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Washing Pit Coming Up in Saharsa<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Alongside Raxaul\u2019s upgrade, the Railways is also preparing to build a <strong>state-of-the-art washing pit in Saharsa<\/strong> to aid in the upkeep of these modern trains. The washing pit will support daily cleaning and maintenance, ensuring better service quality for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Expansion to Muzaffarpur Underway<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Infrastructure upgrades are not limited to Raxaul and Saharsa. <strong>Muzaffarpur Junction<\/strong> has already seen the issue of tenders for OHE modifications.
