This convenience has now come to a complete halt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>No More UPI Transactions via PayLater<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All users, regardless of usage history or repayment record, can <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstoday.in\/personal-finance\/banking\/story\/icici-bank-ends-paylater-credit-line-upi-may-2025-478106-2025-05-28\">no longer use PayLater for UPI payments<\/a><\/strong>. This includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>iMobile Pay<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third-party UPI apps<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The bank stated the move is based on <strong>internal policy<\/strong>, with no indication of regulatory reasons for the decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Outstanding Dues Must Still Be Paid<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have an <strong>outstanding balance<\/strong> in your PayLater account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Repayment remains <strong>mandatory<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monthly statements<\/strong> will continue as usual<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payments can be made via <strong>iMobile Pay<\/strong> or <strong>Internet Banking<\/strong> using linked accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers are urged to <strong>monitor their accounts<\/strong> to avoid missing payments or incurring penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Auto Pay Users Must Take Action<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who set up <strong>Auto Pay<\/strong> linked to PayLater:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must <strong>switch to another payment method immediately<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auto Pay transactions will <strong>not be processed<\/strong> after the service discontinuation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is critical to <strong>prevent disruptions<\/strong> in essential payments like bills or subscriptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other Services Not Affected<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Only PayLater on UPI is being shut down. All other ICICI Bank offerings such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Credit cards<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Savings accounts<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Loans<\/strong><br>remain fully operational and unaffected by this change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Customer Support and Help<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>ICICI Bank advises users with queries to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contact via <strong>digital platforms<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the <strong>nearest branch<\/strong> for assistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The bank has promised continued support to help users transition smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Strategic Shift in Banking Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The termination of PayLater on UPI reflects ICICI Bank\u2019s <strong>internal strategic shift<\/strong>.
