These locations have been selected based on high footfall and recurring crowd management challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Metro-Like Access with Entry Gates and Security Checks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the proposed system, passengers will enter and exit through designated gates\u2014just like in metro systems. These gates will be equipped for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ticket verification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Security screening<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Crowd control during peak hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to ensure smoother passenger flow, better security, and reduced instances of fare evasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Elevated Decks and Infrastructure Upgrades<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support this shift, Indian Railways is constructing elevated decks at key Mumbai stations.
