The project, led by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL), will span 28.5 km and feature 27 stations, including a spur from Basai. The total estimated cost for the metro line is \u20b95,452 crores. To proceed, GMRL is seeking clearance for 5,800 sqm of land and has submitted necessary paperwork and designs to Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) for a no-objection certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to infrastructure development, GMRL is also taking environmental considerations into account. Since 1,660 trees will be cut down for the metro\u2019s construction, the company has committed to planting 16,600 trees as part of compensatory afforestation. This initiative will be undertaken in collaboration with the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) and is expected to cover 17 hectares of land. Once completed, the new metro line will significantly ease intracity travel, offering a faster, greener, and more efficient commute option for residents and office-goers in Gurugram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gurugram\u2019s new 28.5 km metro line will connect Millennium City Centre to Cyber City with 27 stations.
