On 1st May, JSW MG Motor India announced that the Windsor EV has become the largest-selling electric car in India for the seven consecutive months.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Largest-selling Electric Car – MG Windsor EV<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the car maker didn’t share the Windsor EV’s April 2025 volume, the company has garnered sales of over 20,000 units since its launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, during September 2024, the MG Windsor EV<\/a> was launched in India, although its sales started in October 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The JSW MG appears to have recorded total wholesales of 5,829 units in April 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems to be growing 23.36% year-on-year (y-o-y) over 4,725 units sold in the year-ago month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving ahead, the JSW MG said, “Since its launch, the Windsor EV has solidified its position as the best-selling electric car for seven consecutive months. With more than 20,000 happy owners, it has earned widespread customer acclaim for its innovation, design, performance, and a compelling value proposition.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JSW MG Windsor EV Variants & Price<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Windsor EV comes in three variants  including Excite, Exclusive and Essence. Below are their prices (ex-showroom).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here Excite is priced at Rs 13,99,800, Exclusive is at Rs 14,99,800 and Essence is offered at Rs 15,99,800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JSW MG Windsor EV Prices With Rental <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy here that the electric MPV can be had under JSW MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that the charges for Excite will stand at Rs 9,99,800 + Battery rental @ Rs 3.9\/km, for <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exclusive – Rs 10,99,800 + Battery rental @ Rs 3.9\/km and Essence – Rs 11,99,800 + Battery rental @ Rs 3.9\/km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Windsor EV is offered with a permanent magnet synchronous motor paired with a 38kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which is IP67-rated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This motor claims to develop 136PS of maximum power and 200Nm of peak torque. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the ARAI-certified range, the EV can go on up to 332km in a single full charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This car is offered with four driving modes  including Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car manufacturer is planning to launch the JSW MG Windsor EV with a bigger battery pack later this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
