The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnownews.com\/bengaluru\/pune-bangalore-expressway-travel-from-pune-to-bengaluru-in-just-7-hours-see-route-completion-date-article-151475384\">expressway<\/a> will traverse twelve districts in both Maharashtra and Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pune-Bengaluru Expressway To Reduce Travel Time From 15 To 7 Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway in Karnataka will begin at Bommanal in Athani Taluk and will travel through the following districts and areas in Karnataka:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Belagavi District (Athai)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jamakhandi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bagalkot<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Badami<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mudhol<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nargund<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gadag District (Ron)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yelaburga, Koppal District<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vijayanagara District (Kudligi)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Davangere (Jagaluru)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madhugiri<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chitradurga Taluk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Koratagere<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nelamangala<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tumakuru District<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bangalore Rural District, including Doddalballpur<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expressway in Maharashtra will start at Kanjle on the proposed Pune Ring Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will pass through the following in Maharashtra:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pune<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sangli<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Satara district<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A report claims that the 700-kilometer expressway will cut the travel time between Bengaluru and Pune by about 95 kilometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment, it takes roughly fifteen hours to drive from Bengaluru to Pune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is anticipated that the travel time will drop to about seven hours once the expressway is operational.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separately, the Karnataka, India-based Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway is a 119-kilometer access-controlled motorway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, it takes more than three hours to travel from Bangalore to Mysore, and this time is frequently extended by traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key Features of the Expressway<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed under Bharatmala Pariyojna Phase 2, the expressway comes with modern infrastructure and design:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Six-lane highway: Ensures smooth traffic flow and reduced congestion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120 km\/h speed limit: Designed for fast and safe travel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rs 50,000 crore investment: A massive budget for top-tier infrastructure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic connectivity: Links with the Pune-Mumbai Expressway for improved accessibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These features will not only reduce travel time but also create a seamless transit route between Maharashtra and Karnataka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Economic and Regional Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pune-Bengaluru Expressway is not just about reducing travel time.
