Addressing stagnant fresher salaries, Wipro\u2019s Chief Human Resources Officer Saurabh Govil explained<\/a> that the \u20b93\u20134 lakh per annum range, unchanged for over a decade, is driven by market dynamics and not specific to Wipro. He assured that compensation across levels remains competitive and will evolve with changing industry conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In FY25, Wipro successfully met its target by hiring 10,000 freshers. The company also noted improvement in its workforce utilisation and a decline in attrition, which stood at 15% during the March 2025 quarter, slightly lower than 15.3% in the previous quarter. Wipro\u2019s total employee count rose by 614 to 2,33,346 during the same quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
