After days of speculation, OnePlus appears to be gearing up for the launch of its latest line up, OnePlus 13T this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, the much awaited unveiling is set for China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This device has been making a bit of buzz around the globe and it is mainly due to its anticipated powerful hardware, compact form factor, and a few unexpected upgrades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These updates includes a beefy battery and a brand-new shortcut button replacing the much-loved Alert Slider. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, OnePlus has teased 13T as a \u201cbig devil, small screen\u201d (translated from the teaser).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These statements adds to the anticipation of a new OnePlus device that\u2019s compact yet offers a powerful chip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we know that there\u2019s been no official confirmation of a global or Indian release just yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, tech enthusiasts and OnePlus fans thinks otherwise they are definitely keeping a close eye on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, let’s go through details which are provided by the rumours and renders, giving us a decent idea of what to expect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OnePlus 13T Expected Design and Display<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the rumor suggests, OnePlus 13T<\/a> will bring flagship-grade performance in a comparatively compact size. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 13T is expected to feature a smaller 6.3-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device is expected to sport a smaller screen with equal capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rumours hint at a premium glass back, metal frame, and flat edges in the design front <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the OnePlus, it is more and more shifting towards the flat edges especially in compact phones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The same is visible in rendered photographs which are floating around the internet further boasting the flat edges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The smartphone is considered as a compact, lightweight and rumoured to weigh around 185 grams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, the compact size is not expected to come at the cost of battery capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OnePlus 13T Battery and Charging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device doesn\u2019t seem to compromise on battery as it is rumoured to come with a 6,200mAh battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually it is going to be bigger than the 6,000mAh unit in the OnePlus 13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, OnePlus 13T expected to support 80W wired fast charging, wireless charging might be left out \u2014 likely to keep the weight and size in check.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The device will be powered by Qualcomm\u2019s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset \u2014 the same high-end processor found in the flagship OnePlus 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent renders also confirm this, and a recent AnTuTu benchmark (model PKX110) showed it hitting a score of over 3 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The OnePlus 13T assures a smooth performance with a punch with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the cameras, OnePlus 13T will feature a dual-camera setup: a 50-megapixel main sensor (with OIS) and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens (2x optical zoom), instead of going for a triple or quad-camera arrangement like most flagships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magic Cube Button<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, the user should be ready for a big surprise with the OnePlus 13T.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It could be the removal of the Alert Slider, which has been a signature OnePlus feature for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its place, there is going to be a new programmable \u2018Magic Cube\u2019 button \u2014 not unlike Apple\u2019s Action Button on the iPhone 15 Pro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, this new button will still let you switch sound profiles, but it\u2019ll also support customisable shortcuts for things like launching the camera, turning on the torch, and more, said Li Jie Louis, President of OnePlus China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering its earlier trend, the pricing for the 13T could launch in China for somewhere between 4,000\u20134,500, which translates to roughly Rs 47,000 \u2013 Rs 53,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
