Earlier, a leak which was published during December last year promised of getting an upgrade of iOS 19 for the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, alongside the rest of the iPhone range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now it changes as the latest leak from a pretty reliable source says that it wouldn’t be happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per this latest development, the XR, XS and XS Max won’t be invited to the iOS 19 party, as per a leak which comes via 9to5Mac, whose source \u2013 an anonymous, private account on X with a good track record in breaking Apple software stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest leak clearly affirms that the seventh-generation iPad, launched in 2019, won’t be able to get an iPadOS 19 upgrade<\/a> either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What To Expect In The Coming Future?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far nothing is official until Apple announces it at WWDC 2025. This event is now known to commence on June 9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If we consider that this latest leak is correct, then the oldest iPhone that iOS 19 will support will be the iPhone 11. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of the iPhone SE phones, its second and third generation versions will get the upgrade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to timeframes, we should see a developer beta of iOS 19 in June if the iPhone maker sticks to its usual timeframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company could release various public betas before a final release alongside the iPhone 17 in September 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Lot Of Promises To Deliver<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So far, Apple has not released any details regarding the iOS 19 upgrades but of course the leaks have already started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In coming times, we could see a visual redesign that allies iOS and iPadOS more closely with visionOS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should also have a new camera app, and maybe even a version of Siri that works more reliably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This appears to be an important update for Apple: iOS 18 which was launched with heavy emphasis on Apple Intelligence, and some of the most talked-about features have been delayed significantly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
