To mark the first anniversary of the BYD Seal in India, the company has introduced significant updates for both the Seal electric sedan and the Atto 3 electric SUV as part of the 2025 Model Year (MY2025) refresh. These upgrades are focused on enhancing performance, comfort, and technology, solidifying BYD\u2019s commitment to innovation in India\u2019s electric vehicle market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BYD Atto 3 and Seal MY2025: Key Upgrades Boost Comfort, Performance, and Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BYD Atto 3, which has sold over 3,100 units in India, now features a new black interior with ventilated front seats, boosting comfort. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with an upgraded Lithium Iron Phosphate<\/a> (LFP) battery that is lighter, more durable, and has a 15-year lifespan. The Atto 3 comes in three variants, offering ranges from 410 km to 521 km (NEDC). The prices range from Rs 24.99 lakh to Rs 33.99 lakh, with the first 3,000 customers receiving the vehicle at 2024 prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BYD Seal, which sold 1,300 units in its first year, also benefits from several enhancements. The cabin now includes a power sunshade and a silver-plated dimming canopy, improving the interior\u2019s ambiance. The air-conditioning system has been upgraded for better performance. Suspension improvements, such as the Frequency Selective Dampers in the Premium variant, offer a smoother ride, while the Performance trim introduces an intelligent damping system for superior handling. Additionally, the infotainment system now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Seal is available in three variants, with ranges from 510 km to 650 km, depending on the model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bookings for both vehicles have begun, with prices for the Seal expected to be announced in April 2025.
