Nonetheless, its sales increased by 2% year over year (YoY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite selling 16,317 fewer units than in January 2025, the Hyundai Creta (ICE+EV) saw a 6% YoY increase in sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2025, 16,269 Maruti Swift units were sold, representing a 23% YoY increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sales of the Maruti Baleno dropped by more than 4,000 units, causing it to drop from second place in January 2025 to fifth place in February 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 15,392 sold, the Maruti Brezza surpassed the previous month&#8217;s sales by 645 units to become the best-selling sub-4m SUV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 15,349 units sold, the Tata Nexon maintained its position as one of Tata&#8217;s best-selling models and sales figures comparable to January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With 14,868 units sold and a 4% MoM sales increase, the Maruti Ertiga came in at number eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maruti Suzuki Dzire Sees 4% MoM Decline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite selling 14,694 units, the Maruti Dzire saw a 4% MoM decline, placing it in ninth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Punch (ICE + EV), the best-selling vehicle of 2024, fell to 10th place with 14,559 units sold, a 10% MoM and 21% YoY drop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In February 2025, 13,618 Mahindra Scorpio (N + Classic) units were sold, making it the company&#8217;s best-selling model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of Mahindra&#8217;s best-selling models, the Thar (3-door + Thar Roxx), came in at number fifteen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite a 2% MoM increase in sales, the Maruti Eeco saw a 5% YoY decline in sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maruti Grand Vitara fell more than 5,000 units from its January 2025 ranking of sixth to its February 2025 ranking of thirteenth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar to January 2025, the Hyundai Venue sold over 10,000 units, although sales decreased 8% month over month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In February 2025, the Maruti Fronx overtook the Hyundai Creta and Maruti Wagon R as the best-selling vehicle, having risen from 10th place in January 2025.
