Renault To Fit Government-Approved CNG Kits on Kwid, Kiger, and Triber Models<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nTo maintain uniformity, the fitting procedure is the same at every Renault dealership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Five important states that make up 65% of the market demand\u2014Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra\u2014will be included in the rollout at first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the upcoming months, Renault intends to make these CNG kits available all over the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For dependability and peace of mind, a standard three-year warranty will be included with all Renault models equipped with the CNG kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The kits work with all Kwid, Kiger, and Triber models with manual transmissions; however, they are not compatible with Turbo or automatic models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To guarantee that fuel efficiency is improved while preserving power and driveability, extensive testing has been done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How Much Does The CNG Retrofit Kit Cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nFor the Kiger and Triber, the CNG retrofit kits cost Rs. 79,500, while the Kwid kit costs Rs. 75,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the few companies providing certified CNG retrofit solutions is Renault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this initiative, Renault India’s Managing Director and Country CEO, Venkatram M., highlighted the company’s dedication to sustainability and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The introduction of government-approved CNG retrofit kits, he said, is in line with Renault’s mission to offer intelligent and environmentally friendly mobility solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 1.0L three-cylinder petrol engine and manual gearbox are shared by all three CNG-equipped models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Kwid CNG costs between Rs. 5.44 lakh and Rs. 6.74 lakh (ex-showroom) with the kit included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ex-showroom, the Kiger CNG costs between Rs. 6.89 lakh and Rs. 10.79 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
