This AI-driven functionality is expected to <strong>launch soon<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/technology\/apps\/google-pay-to-support-voice-activated-upi-payments-with-new-ai-integration-2025-02-16-976504#:~:text=Users%20will%20soon%20be%20able,is%20underway%20for%20this%20feature.&amp;text=Millions%20of%20Google%20Pay%20users%20are%20set%20to%20benefit%20from,UPI%20payments%20simply%20by%20speaking.\">aligning<\/a> with India\u2019s efforts to promote digital transactions in regional languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AI and Cybersecurity Investments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to voice payments, Google is also investing in <strong>AI and machine learning technologies<\/strong> to <strong>combat cyber fraud<\/strong> in India. As digital transactions grow, ensuring secure payments remains a priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Google Pay\u2019s Dominance in UPI Transactions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Google Pay and <strong>PhonePe<\/strong> currently dominate India\u2019s UPI payment space. As of <strong>November 2024<\/strong>, Google Pay holds a <strong>37% market share<\/strong>, while <strong>PhonePe leads with 47.8%<\/strong>.
