These efforts helped BSNL and MTNL achieve <strong>operating profits<\/strong> from <strong>fiscal year 2020-21<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government had directed BSNL to <strong>deploy 4G networks<\/strong> using <strong>locally developed technology<\/strong> from the <strong>CDoT-TCS partnership<\/strong>, despite internal opposition favoring <strong>global vendors<\/strong>.
