Close behind in second place, the Maruti Baleno sold 19,965 units, with a modest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rushlane.com\/top-10-cars-suvs-jan-2025-creta-swift-punch-nexon-scorpio-dzire-12517690.html\">1.71% YoY growth<\/a>. The Hyundai Creta followed in third with 18,522 units sold, reflecting a strong 40.91% YoY increase. The Maruti Swift secured fourth position with 17,081 units and an 11.13% YoY rise. Fifth place went to Tata Punch, the best-selling vehicle of CY24, with 16,231 units sold, although it experienced a 9.72% YoY decline. Rounding out the top six was Maruti\u2019s Grand Vitara, which sold 15,784 units and saw a 17.46% YoY growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The remaining positions in the top 10 were occupied by the Mahindra Scorpio (15,442 units), Tata Nexon (15,397 units), Maruti Dzire (15,383 units), and Maruti Fronx (15,192 units), each experiencing a mix of growth and declines. In total, the top 10 cars sold 1,73,075 units, reflecting an 8.66% YoY increase compared to January 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Top SUV Sales of January 2025: Creta, Punch Lead the Pack<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leading the SUV category was the Hyundai Creta and its electric variant, with 18,522 units sold. In second place, the Tata Punch and Punch EV totalled 16,231 units, while the Maruti Grand Vitara followed closely with 15,784 units. The Mahindra Scorpio secured the fourth spot with 15,442 units sold, and the Maruti Nexon and Fronx completed the top six.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other noteworthy models included the Maruti Brezza, which sold 14,747 units, and the Hyundai Venue with 11,106 units, both experiencing slight YoY declines. Mahindra\u2019s XUV3XO and XUV700 showed impressive growth, while the Mahindra Bolero saw a drop in sales. In total, the top 15 SUVs sold 1,75,245 units, reflecting a 2.44% YoY increase.
