Recently the inner circle of the late business tycoon Ratan Tata opened his will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mention Of Mystery Man In Ratan Tata\u2019s Will<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were left surprised as it mentioned a mystery man \u2014 Mohini Mohan Dutta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, Mohini Mohan Dutta has been bequeathed as a third of former Tata Group chairman’s residual assets which is estimated at more than Rs 500 crore, as per the media report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This unexpected inclusion, came as a surprise to the Tata family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the age of 86, the chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata passed away in a Mumbai hospital on October 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to Mr Dutta, he had been a long-standing associate and was known to Tata’s close circles, including some family members, said the sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier, Mr Dutta has described himself as being close to Tata family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Close To The Family <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While all the reports are circling, you must be wondering, who is Mohini Mohan Dutta ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mohini Mohan Dutta is an entrepreneur who works in the travel sector from Jamshedpur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reportedly, he and his family used to own the travel agency Stallion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterward it was merged with Taj Services, part of the Taj Group of Hotels during 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears that Dutta and his family held 80 percent stake in Stallion, while the rest was owned by Tata Industries, as per the media report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, one of Dutta\u2019s daughters worked at Taj Hotels till 2015, afterward she started working at Tata Trusts until 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was also invited to Tata’s birth anniversary celebrations in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First time Dutta met with Ratan Tata in Jamshedpur and they have known each other for 60 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They first met at the Dealers\u2019 Hostel in Jamshedpur when Ratan Tata was 24 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
