Ketan Mody, COO of RCPL, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.business-standard.com\/companies\/news\/reliance-consumer-acquires-sil-food-india-strategic-expansion-125012200410_1.html\">expressed<\/a> confidence that Reliance\u2019s expertise in consumer engagement, innovation, and distribution would unlock SIL\u2019s potential in a competitive market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SIL Food India, originally known as James Smith &amp; Co, was first acquired by Marico Industries in 1993. Later, it passed through several hands, including Scandic Food India and Food Service India, before being acquired by Reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>RCPL\u2019s Acquisition of SIL Foods to Drive Growth and Brand Revitalization<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ajay Mariwala, Managing Director of SIL Foods, shared enthusiasm for the partnership with RCPL, believing it would bring the brand to a broa&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; der and more modern audience. RCPL\u2019s strategy includes offering competitively priced products, higher margins for retailers, and revitalizing legacy brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This acquisition is part of RCPL\u2019s broader growth strategy, which in recent years has also seen the addition of brands like Ravalgaon, Toffeeman, Campa, and Sosyo.
