To meet the increasing demand for lightning-fast shipping, Delhivery has introduced a new service called Rapid Commerce that allows deliveries to occur in less than two hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its launch in Bengaluru, Rapid Commerce has processed more than 300 orders every day. This service is similar to quick-commerce (q-commerce) models, such as those that deliver goods in ten to fifteen minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhivery Introduces New Service: Rapid Commerce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhivery stated, \u201cFor D2C brands, retailers and e-commerce brands \u2013 the service enables<\/a> them to offer significantly faster delivery times, thereby improving customer experience on their own platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rapid Commerce helps retailers, e-commerce platforms, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands cut down on delivery times and boost customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In contrast to traditional e-commerce, which usually takes several days, it allows brands in industries like electronics, apparel and fashion, and beauty and personal care to deliver orders within hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajith Pai, COO at Delhivery, commented, \u201cWith Rapid Commerce, leading D2C brands can create a superior direct experience and greater control over customer loyalty. Brands can provide consumers faster access to a vast catalogue of products at efficient costs by using our network of shared in-city rapid stores.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the upcoming months, Delhivery intends to extend Rapid Commerce to cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Ahmedabad in response to the success of its Bengaluru launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delhivery noted, \u201cThe service addresses needs of brands across categories such as beauty and personal care, apparel and fashion, electronics and accessories etc., which were traditionally reliant on standard e-commerce delivery timelines, to reach consumers within hours of the order being placed on their platform.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Velocity Introduces Shipfast<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, Shipfast, a platform that enables D2C brands to provide quicker deliveries via their websites, was introduced by Velocity, a fintech company supported by Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With shipping choices like four-hour, same-day, and next-day delivery, Shipfast helps direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands cut expenses while expediting order fulfillment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though quick-commerce platforms like Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy’s Instamart have seen significant growth, many direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands are now opting to manage the customer journey on their own by providing faster delivery options on their websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These brands can avoid the hefty commissions that are usually connected to third-party platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless, difficulties still exist in guaranteeing a flawless shipping experience because problems like delivery hold-ups, protracted resolution times, and imprecise tracking frequently result in unhappy customers and diminished brand loyalty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
