Reportedly, the Finance Ministry is all set to present this year\u2019s Union Budget 2025 on February 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RSS-affiliated Organisations Presented  Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This holds a great significance as the middle class is looking at the Narendra Modi government to provide<\/a> income tax relief like every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It appears that the RSS-affiliated organisations have presented various proposals during pre-budget discussions with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raising Income Tax Exemption Limit & Much More <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This proposal includes raising tax-free\/tax exempt income threshold to Rs 10 lakh, implementing an agriculture-specific package, extending MGNREGA work days to 200, quickening GST refunds, and establishing a thorough manufacturing strategy to address Chinese imports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh’s (BMS) representatives, Pawan Kumar, presented their recommendations to FM Sitharaman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BMS seems to have advocated for extending MGNREGA to ensure 200 workdays per family annually, as per the media report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this they have requested a dedicated package for sectors requiring substantial labour such as agriculture, plantation, beedi and fisheries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their organisation is looking for the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, tax exemption up to Rs 10 lakh, and preferred OPS over NPS and UPS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this the proposals talks about doubling the gratuity calculation period to 30 days per year from the existing 15 days and also removing tax obligations for pensioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we know that that Laghu Udyog Bharati<\/p>\n\n\n\n

organizations representing small and medium enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have requested faster GST refund processing, introduction of an amnesty programme for minor GST filing errors, and GST rate adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bhartiya Kisan Sangh is the agricultural group that sought GST exemption on farming inputs and periodic increases in PM Kisan Nidhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this BKS also requested direct fertiliser subsidy transfers to farmers’ accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swadeshi Jagran Manch also known as the RSS’s economic division is represented by Ashwini Mahajan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
