Infosys received 8,140 H-1B visas, making it the most favored Indian company. With 5,274 visas, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) came in second among Indian businesses. Another significant recipient with Indian ancestry was HCL America, which obtained 2,953 H-1B visas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 9,265 approvals, Amazon Com Services LLC was the top sponsor of H-1B visas overall in 2024. With 6,321 H-1B visas issued, Cognizant Technology Solutions came in third place overall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divergent Views on H-1B Visa<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divergent views on the H-1B visa program’s economic impact have generated a great deal of discussion in US political circles. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, is a fervent supporter of the H-1B program, citing its value in preserving a pool of highly qualified workers that are vital to the American economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
