Key steps in the survey include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Drone-based assessments<\/strong> for aerial mapping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of <strong>LiDAR technology<\/strong> for detailed land analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIS-based mapping and land ownership verification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A senior MMRDA official confirmed that these surveys, coupled with ground studies, will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesnownews.com\/mumbai\/third-mumbai-is-coming-surveys-to-begin-in-2025-heres-how-it-will-transform-commuting-article-116672299\">completed<\/a> within <strong>six to eight months<\/strong>, forming the foundation for the KSC New Town\u2019s development strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Comprehensive Master Plan by 2026<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure holistic planning, the MMRDA has invited applications from private firms to oversee surveys and develop a <strong>vision document<\/strong>.
