These changes will be effective from December 20, 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ify-2-1.png\" alt=\"Axis Bank Credit Card Users Will Pay Upto Rs 199 For Redemption Of Points (New Charges Imposed)\" class=\"wp-image-1288842\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ify-2-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ify-2-1-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/ify-2-1-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers have also received notifications about these updates, which include a new redemption fee, revised interest rates, and transaction charges.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read on to find out all the details about Axis Bank\u2019s new updates and changes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Axis Bank Introduces New Changes To Credit Card Fees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the latest reports have confirmed, for EDGE Rewards and Miles, Axis Bank has implemented a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbctv18.com\/photos\/personal-finance\/axis-bank-new-credit-card-fees-charges-rise-dec-20-payments-interest-rate-19526763-2.htm\">redemption<\/a> fee of \u20b999 (plus 18% GST) for cash redemptions and \u20b9199 (plus 18% GST) for point transfers to mileage programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several Axis Bank credit cards are subject to this fee, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Axis Bank Atlas Credit Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Samsung Axis Bank Infinite Credit Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card (including Burgundy variant)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This change to the redemption fee does not apply to Citi-protege cards, such as the Axis Bank Olympus and Horizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Monthly Interest Rate At Axis Bank Adjusted<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The monthly interest rate at Axis Bank has been adjusted and will now be 3.75%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are now payment fees, which include:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is a 2% fee on the payment amount for auto debit reversals and check returns, with a minimum of \u20b9500 and no upper limit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Branches will charge \u20b9175 for cash payments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If the Minimum Amount Due (MAD) is not paid for two consecutive cycles, there will be an additional \u20b9100 fee for missed payments, which will continue until it is paid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, a 1.5% increase has been made to the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) markup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, a 1% fee will now be applied to rent transactions; the fee amount is unlimited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While payments made directly to educational institutions are exempt, payments made through third-party apps will incur a 1% fee.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Axis Bank has now announced several changes to the fees that are charged on its credit cards.
