Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu has announced that the Airport Authority of India (AAI) will soon offer an inexpensive refreshment option called the “Udaan Yatri Cafe” at airports under its management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to provide passengers with high-quality food at reasonable costs, the “Udaan Yatri Cafe” will provide a carefully chosen menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AAI-Run Airports To Get Affordable Food Options<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a pilot project, the first “Udaan Yatri Cafe” will open at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement was given during the unveiling of Kolkata Airport’s centennial celebration<\/a> logo, which commemorates the airport’s 100 years of operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated, \u201cThe cafe will offer a curated menu with affordable pricing, ensuring that passengers have access to quality food at a cost-effective rate, enhancing their travel experience without compromising on value.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on the success of the pilot project, the cafes will eventually be extended to other AAI-managed airports. Initially, they will be located in the departure lounge of Kolkata Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These kiosks are anticipated to be implemented in the future at the approximately 125 airports that AAI operates throughout India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiosks To Provide Basic Refreshments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To meet the needs of passengers, the kiosks will provide basic refreshments like tea, coffee, snacks, and water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As India’s aviation industry expands quickly, the Civil Aviation Ministry is taking steps to make air travel more accessible and economical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In India, the civil aviation industry is one of the fastest-growing sectors, making a substantial contribution to job creation and economic expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Naidu emphasized that all civil aviation verticals have pushed boundaries over the past ten years, making India the world’s third-largest domestic aviation hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He underlined the objective of breaking down current barriers and leveling up the industry in order to make India the world’s top domestic aviation hub. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated, \u201cWe are now the third-largest domestic aviation hub in the whole world. And now, we need to take it forward, break barriers once again, level up the civil aviation sector, and achieve the goal of becoming the number one domestic hub in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
