Women-Centric Driving Option<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to promote personal safety, female drivers have the option to only accept trips from female passengers<\/a>. The purpose of this option is to provide female drivers more earning opportunities and longer working hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audio Recording<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A secure travel experience is ensured by the ability for drivers and passengers to record talks while they are uncomfortable. In accordance with India’s one-party consent requirements, recordings are encrypted, safely preserved, and only available through official safety reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RideCheck<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unusual trip activity, like prolonged stops, is automatically detected by RideCheck, which notifies drivers and passengers. This feature allows for prompt assistance when needed and offers timely safety checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tell About My Trip<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Users can track their journey in real time by sharing trip details with trusted contacts. Users are reassured about their safety and transparency is improved by this feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recording Audio Automatically<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For safety, trips can be automatically recorded without the driver or rider having to manually enter information. Between drivers and passengers, recordings foster trust and add an element of accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uber Introduces \u201cUber One\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sooraj Nair, Head of Safety Operations at Uber, stated, \u201cWe believe that our work on safety never stops. Whether it\u2019s through tech-driven solutions like SOS integration and Women Rider Preference, or through initiatives such as gender sensitization, we remain focused on building a platform that riders and drivers can trust every time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Uber has introduced “Uber One,” a subscription service that provides priority customer service, ride discounts, and special member discounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cost of an Uber One subscription is \u20b9149 per month, \u20b9349 every three months, and \u20b91,499 every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uber One is different from the previous Rider Pass in that it has more features and safety improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
