After a series of speculations and teasers, finally Skoda<\/a> has taken the covers off from its compact SUV Kylaq. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUV Kylaq Launch Date & Availability <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the Kylaq, it is a specially developed sub-four-meter vehicle created with the Indian market in mind. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the official launch, you will have to wait a little bit longer as it is scheduled on December 2 in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s base variant\u00a0 has been priced at Rs 7.89 lakh, as announced by Skoda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But good news is that the bookings are open from 2 December, 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest SUV by Skoda will be offered in six color options including Lava Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Candy White along with a new Olive Gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can expect the deliveries to begin from 27 January, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kylaq Looks & Features<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the looks, the Kylaq looks like a mini Kushaq with a very similar face and rear end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This SUV sports shortened length, as compared to the Kushaq, to comply with the rules of the sub-four SUV game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving ahead, the highlights of the interior have a dual digital screens, powered driver seat, leatherette upholstery, connected car technology, ambient lighting, and a six-speaker Canton sound system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case of safety, all versions of the Kylaq will get six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control programme, and ISOFIX child seat mounting points, headrests, and three-point seatbelts for all occupants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, thecompact SUV measures 3.95 meters with a wheelbase 2.56 meters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kylaq gets a ground clearance of 189mm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest launch comes with a boot capacity of 446 liters, and with the seats down, it stands at 1,265 liters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the powertrain, the Kylaq is offered with Skoda\u2019s 1.0-litre TSI petrol producing 114bhp and 178Nm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to this engine, it can either be a six-speed MT or a six-speed AT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest launch by Skoda holds a great significance for the carmaker as it will bring them back to the sub-Rs.10 lakh price bracket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will happen after nearly a decade so it is important for the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative is expected to give the company volumes and access to Tier 3 and Tier 4 markets where they currently have little to no presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After its launch, Kylaq will compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Fronx, Maruti Brezza, and the Toyota Taisor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
