The Indian multinational automative company, Tata Motors seems to have improved it’s game with the latest  launch of its long-speculated Nexon CNG<\/a> in the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tata Nexon CNG Launch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The carmaker has launched the Tata Nexon CNG in India with a price tag  ranging from Rs 8.99 lakh to Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the features, this model is launched with a turbo-petrol engine, which is a first for any CNG offering in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving ahead with the CNG powertrain, the Nexon now also comes with a panoramic sunroof. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly launched CNG-powered Nexon is available in eight variants with a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 8.99 lakh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this launch, Tata is offering Nexon with petrol, diesel, EV, and CNG powertrain options across its wide portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The consumers can now have Tata Nexon CNG in eight variants, namely, Smart (O), Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative+, and Fearless+ S. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of features, the new Nexon CNG comes loaded with a first-in-segment panoramic sunroof, 10.25-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, 360-degree surround camera, eight speakers, ventilated front seats auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers, leatherette seat upholstery, and sequential LED DRLs with welcome and goodbye animation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s New In Nexon CNG?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the powetrain, Nexon CNG is a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine which is coupled only with a six-speed manual gearbox. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand continuing on the it’s innovative twin CNG cylinder tanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, the Nexon CNG also comes equipped with this tech leading to a usable boot space of 321 liters which is 61 litres less than the ICE (internal combustion engine) Nexon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company claims that the the Nexon CNG can churn out 99bhp and 170Nm of peak torque. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Tata Nexon CNG is offered with dual-CNG cylinders which have a total capacity of 60 litres. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy here that the latest Nexon CNG is not being offered with any automatic transmission option as of now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its engine is offered with a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission) and a 6-speed AMT (automated manual transmission). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, this ICE-powered Nexon  gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 PS\/260 Nm), mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking Care Of Safety<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new launch comes with a new panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup (one for the touchscreen and the other for the driver\u2019s display). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has ventilated front seats and an 8-speaker sound system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company is also offering an auto AC, air purifier, height-adjustable driver and front passenger seat belts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s safety suite included six airbags (as standard), a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor, and rain-sensing wipers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
