The three in-office days that were previously required have been increased by this regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal of the modification is to encourage teamwork and skill growth among the sales force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The internal message made it clear that working remotely ought to be the exception rather than the rule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five days a week, field agents are required to split their time between working in the office and engaging with customers and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certain employees who are unable to visit a Dell office have been granted an exception, enabling them to continue working remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dell reorganized their sales division in August, which resulted in 12,500 staff layoffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The business intends to combine sales teams into a new division with a primary focus on artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the precise number of layoffs has not been disclosed, estimates indicate that 12,500 workers, or around 10% of Dell’s workforce, may be impacted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dell has been having trouble with its primary PC business, which hasn’t made the kind of recovery that was expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
