Already the smartphone brand has dominated the foldable market with the already launched devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But now, the company is reportedly developing a phone with a 12.4-inch rollable display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This new device is anticipated to be launched in the second half of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This would potentially signal the next step in smartphone evolution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, South Korean sources hinted at features like an under-display camera, offering users an uninterrupted viewing experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Natural Progression For Samsung<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the rollable display<\/a>, this step towards the development of rollable phones seems like a natural progression for Samsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand has been perfecting foldable phones in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming to the rollable technology, it already exists, and concept phones with similar designs have been showcased in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basically, this suggests that Samsung could be ready to make this idea a commercial reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is noteworthy here that the company wasn\u2019t the first to market with a tri-fold phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As it can be witnessed with Huawei\u2019s recent release as it is already positioning itself as the pioneer in rollable phones, with an even larger display than the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the speculations, a 12.4-inch screen could be a game-changer, offering more screen real estate than any foldable device currently on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


It will take several months before a possible launch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, Samsung\u2019s rollable phone could debut alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is expected to be another major release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As far as foldable phones are concerned, they have been a success for Samsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, it seems that the smartphone makers will continue to explore that category while also pushing forward with new technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, the details remain scarce, and a launch date in late 2025 is still uncertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, Samsung enthusiasts can look forward to the Galaxy S25 series which is expected to be launched in January 2025, marking the next significant addition to the company\u2019s smartphone line-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
