Before its official delivery to India, the Boeing 737 MAX 9 underwent major modifications at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg in Switzerland. The aircraft arrived at the facility in April 2023, where it underwent significant cabin enhancements and interior upgrades. This phase included several test flights between Basel, Geneva, and London to ensure the jet\u2019s new features were functioning perfectly. The jet took its final flight from Basel, Switzerland, to Delhi on August 27, 2024, covering a distance of over 6,200 kilometers in a nine-hour journey. The aircraft is now stationed at Delhi Airport and is expected to soon be transferred to Mumbai, where Reliance Industries is headquartered.
