{"id":1285180,"date":"2024-09-12T09:16:08","date_gmt":"2024-09-12T03:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1285180"},"modified":"2024-09-12T09:16:28","modified_gmt":"2024-09-12T03:46:28","slug":"apple-intelligence-will-only-be-available-for-iphone-16-users-under-ios-18-1-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/apple-intelligence-will-only-be-available-for-iphone-16-users-under-ios-18-1-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Intelligence Will Only Be Available For iPhone 16 Users Under iOS 18.1 Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In a latest update, the iOS 18 will be launched on September 16 as revealed by Apple on 11 September.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/ify-7-1.png\" alt=\"Apple Intelligence Will Only Be Available For iPhone 16 Users Under iOS 18.1 Update\" class=\"wp-image-1285185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/ify-7-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/ify-7-1-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/ify-7-1-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>iOS 18 Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is almost a week from today, and&nbsp; perfectly timed with the release date of the new iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, which are slated to be launched on September 20 and ship with iOS 18 preinstalled.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, this update will be rolled out to all supported iPhones and will be available to all who want it on that day &#8211; no multi-week rollout shenanigans with Apple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noteworthy here that Apple Intelligence will not be part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/heres_when_ios_18_and_apple_intelligence_will_be_available-news-64464.php\">iOS 18<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this lineup, the first batch of features will arrive as part of iOS 18.1 (and iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1), and will be landing in October.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the company has informed, the first batch of features will only be available in US English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, they have promised an expansion in December to include localized English in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After that, Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish will be supported too, which is planned for next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What To Expect In October Release?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The users can expect Writing Tools, creating movies based off a description in the Memories feature in Photos, searching for specific photos using natural language, searching for specific moments in videos, Clean Up which removes things or people from photos, recording, transcribing, and summarizing audio in the Notes and Phone apps, summarized notifications, Priority Messages in Mail, summaries of emails, Smart Reply in Mail, and a redesigned Siri which supports typing to it and is more &#8220;natural&#8221; and &#8220;flexible&#8221; AI features in this release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides this, Siri can answer &#8220;thousands of questions&#8221; regarding the features and settings of Apple devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After That, the users will get Image Playground to generate images and emoji, Image Wand to generate images from sketches, and Siri will use your own personal context to deliver intelligence tailored to you &#8220;later this year and in the months following&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will also offer onscreen awareness and be able to take hundreds of new actions in and across Apple and third-party apps.
