BSNL 5G SIM Platform: Next-Gen Connectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a move to upgrade its infrastructure, BSNL recently announced the launch of its New Generation Over-the-Air (OTA) and Universal SIM (USIM) platform. This 4G and 5G compatible platform, developed in collaboration with Pyro Holdings Pvt. Ltd., will serve BSNL customers across the country, offering unparalleled connectivity and service quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key advantages of this platform is the flexibility it offers to mobile subscribers. BSNL customers can now select mobile numbers and replace SIMs without geographical restrictions, making the service more user-friendly. Massive Tower Installation Plans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSNL’s 5G rollout is accompanied by a massive expansion of its 4G infrastructure. The company plans to install over 1,00,000 towers by March 2025, with 80,000 to be completed by October 2024. This large-scale deployment will ensure better coverage and more reliable services for millions of BSNL subscribers across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSNL\u2019s Revival Package and Future Plans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSNL\u2019s efforts to upgrade its services are backed by the government’s third revival package, amounting to Rs 89,047 crore. This package includes the allocation of 4G and 5G spectrum through equity infusion, further boosting the company\u2019s capacity to compete in the fast-evolving telecom sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
