Recently, the Indian telecom giant, Reliance Jio has launched a new app known as JioTV+ app<\/a> that will be compatible with Android, Apple and TV\u2019s powered by Amazon\u2019s Fire OS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This app is especially accessible to only Jio set-top box (STB) users who are using Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber connection.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This app is mainly designed to offer access to over 800 digital TV channels across different languages and genres including General entertainment, News, Sports, Music, Kids, Business and Devotional, and more.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Does JioTV+ App Work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to use JioTV+ app, the users will need one single login for over-the-top apps, according to the Reliance Jio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This app comes with modern guides, smart remote compatibility, playback speed control, Catch-up TV and personalized recommendations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the use of this app, the users can apply different filters for categories and languages to make their search experience simpler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to the access for OTT platforms, users will get access to JioCinema Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5 and FanCode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have also provided a kids\u2019 section which will be showcasing content which is especially curated for kids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking to download this app, it is available for download on Google Play Store. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides this, it is also available for download on Android TV, Apple TV and Amazon Firestick TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to this, the support for LG OS-powered TVs will be rolled out soon, as announced by Jio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are wondering about this service, not all Jio AirFiber and Jio Fiber users will get access to the Jio TV+ app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Criteria For Jio TV+ App<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For being eligible to get access to the app, the users need to be subscribed to one of the following plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. JioAirFiber – with all the plans, Jio TV+ app will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. JioFiber Postpaid users Rs 599, Rs 899 and above<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. JioFiber Prepaid users will have this with Rs 999 and above plan<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If an individual is eligible for this app then they just need to log in to the JioTV+ app with JioFiber\/ JioAirfiber using a registered mobile number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    After that, the user will get an OTP for authentication and then he is good to go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Besides this, Jio has also introduced its cheapest recharge plan with unlimited 5G data access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
