The recall was announced after Maruti Suzuki identified a suspected flaw in the steering gearbox<\/a> of certain Alto K10 vehicles. The company has advised owners of the affected vehicles to refrain from driving or using their cars until the defective part is replaced. This recall is the latest in a series of safety-related actions by Maruti Suzuki, following earlier recalls of other popular models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Check if Your Car is Affected<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Owners of Alto K10 vehicles can easily check if their car is part of the recall by visiting the ‘Important Customer Info’ section on Maruti Suzuki’s official website. By entering the chassis number of their vehicle, customers can determine whether their car is affected and needs a replacement of the steering gearbox. Additionally, Maruti Suzuki’s authorized dealer workshops will proactively contact the owners of the impacted vehicles to arrange for the free replacement of the defective part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
