Actions such as turning the head to talk or making minor postural adjustments can highly reduce a rider’s control, especially in high-speed or congested traffic situations, thereby increasing the risk of accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MVD highlighting the gravity of the issue, plans to introduce penalties for those violating this new rule, although the exact fine is yet to be fixed. Joint Transport Commissioner K Manoj Kumar has provided a stern warning to RTOs, stressing the importance of strict enforcement.
