The post featuring the engineer in his company hoodie at the wheel, has struck a chord with many, igniting discussions about the significance of social connections, even in high-stress settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a post on X, techie Venkatesh Gupta shared that he met a 35-year-old staff software engineer<\/a> from Microsoft in Koramangala who drives for Namma Yatri on weekends to cope with loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside the auto-rickshaw, the man was spotted wearing a Microsoft hoodie. While some users identified with his loneliness, others were surprised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A user wrote down that “As the tech industry grows, so does the occurrence of lack of friends among professionals. A hidden fact that sometimes, the most advanced technology can’t replace human interaction.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diverse Reactions to Engineer’s Side Hustle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another user remarked, “That’s great; he understands the importance of mental health. Switching subjects provides a break. An engineer at my office works as a bartender to unwind.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the third user remarked on X that If it’s true, it’s really cool! It’s absolutely fine to be riding autos\/ driving taxis. I’ve met really good people abroad who run good businesses yet drive uber whenever they are free. The reason being, they simply like driving, meeting new people & they do not do it for the money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
