With more than $1.5 billion in projects in the pipeline, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is a major player in the artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tata Consultancy Services To Be A Major Player in AI and Generative AI Space<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the purpose of developing and experimenting with AI and generative AI solutions<\/a>, TCS has set up an AI experience zone for engineers and staff in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TCS is developing an AI-powered interview coach that assesses the tone, content, and body language of responses and offers constructive criticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TCS is integrating AI-powered solutions, like interview coaches, into its internal operations, including HR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the company, TCS is constructing a thorough framework of AI competencies, encompassing AI-driven talent sourcing, engagement, deployment, and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To facilitate the development of skills in both customers and staff, TCS has established labs that provide environments and simulations customized for certain use cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, TCS is managing more than 270 AI and generative AI projects, incorporating these technologies into diverse operations like finance, marketing, and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Than 300,000 Workers Completed Basic AI Training<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 300,000 workers have completed basic AI training, which includes generative AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By utilizing the knowledge of its own specialists, TCS is creating a hierarchy of AI talents and expanding expertise throughout the firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N Chandrasekaran, the chairman of TCS, admitted that automation from AI and generative AI could result in job losses, but he also emphasized the productivity gains and new job opportunities that these technologies will bring about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

July 2023 saw TCS create a specific AI Cloud business unit, which was a big change in the company’s first restructure under CEO and MD K Krithivasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TCS has attained the pre-pandemic level of office-based workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of June of this year, TCS reported a minor decrease in the percentage of female employees, to 35.5%; nevertheless, given their pre-pandemic policies and measures, this is not a cause for alarm. TCS highlights the significance of retraining staff members to equip them for the shifts brought about by automation driven by AI and generative AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
