The official financial filing is expected to be submitted by September-October to the Registrar of Companies (RoC) by the Cupertino-based tech giant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Untitled-design-8-1.png\" alt=\"Apple India Sold Rs 67,000 Crore Of iPhones, MacBook, iPads, AirPods In Last 12 Months\" class=\"wp-image-1283498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Untitled-design-8-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Untitled-design-8-1-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Untitled-design-8-1-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apple India Profits Soar 76.5% in FY23, but Remains Small Slice of Global Pie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple reported its Indian revenue at Rs 49,332 crore (nearly $6 billion), marking a 48 per cent rise from the FY22 figure of Rs 33,381 crore (around $4 billion) in FY23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a company filing, Apple, in India, achieved a profit of Rs 2,230 crore in FY23, a 76.5 per cent increase from the Rs 1,263 crore profit in FY22. Apple\u2019s India earnings figure for FY24, however, could not be determined.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Apple spokesperson fall off to comment on these numbers. Despite the robust growth in this country, Apple\u2019s India share in its overall global sales remained satisfactory \u2014 constituting 1.5 per cent of its overall turnover of $389 billion in FY23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apple Shifts Production to India, Targets 25% Share by FY26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, India has emerged as important hub as Apple shifts away more of its iPhone production from China. With exports from India surpassing $10 billion in FY24, the country now accounts for approximately 14 per cent of Apple\u2019s iPhone production value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple aims to grow this share to 23-25 per cent by the end of FY26, leveraging its three vendors \u2014 Tata Electronics, Pegatron, and Foxconn \u2014 during the final year of the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for mobile devices, according to reports. The collective performance of these vendors has notably excelled Apple\u2019s targets under the PLI scheme. For example, the aggregate production value of iPhones assembled in India over the past three years has reached Rs 1,94,800 crore, surpassing the target of Rs 133,493 crore. Likewise, exports from India over the three years have reached an FOB (free on board) value of Rs 140,280 crore, excelling the target of Rs 97,497 crore up to FY24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple Inc CEO Tim Cook remains bullish about the burgeoning Indian market, which has been growing at double-digit rates year over year.
