He said that he also worked the same place where the retired US Army general and former head of NSA did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In charge of the National Security Agency between 2018 and 2023 and as per Snowden, Nakasone would “help improve AI’s role in cybersecurity by detecting and responding to threats quickly.” Nakasone’s appointment was announced after concerns about the safety culture at the AI company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also said how the company has “gone full mask-off” and made a warning to his followers that under no circumstances should they “ever trust OpenAI or its products”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This warning includes the world famour ChatGPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it came to the appointment of the former NSA boss, Snowden said that “This is a willful, calculated betrayal of the rights of every person on Earth. You have been warned.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the founder of the xAI startup, Elon Musk, who already opposes Sam Altman and the \u201cwoke\u201d direction taken by OpenAI while making its products, said sarcastically that \u201cCan\u2019t wait for OpenAI to have access to my phone.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musk, early this week, also said that the company is collaborating with Apple to make its ChatGPT integrated into all Apple\u2019s devices. If that happens, he said that he shall ban all the Apple devices from all of his companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His main concern behind OpenAI having the access to the user data is that it shall copy it to its own servers and then further unsolicited use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On parallel lines, fans have noticed that OpenAI’s latest chat assistant sounds similar to Scarlett Johansson’s voice in the movie Her. Post this, the actress also spoke against it and asked the company to not use her voice. She also admitted that she denied partnership months before the reveal of the company’s AI personal assistant voice choices was revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman previously posted “Her” on X, formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
