{"id":1281655,"date":"2024-05-15T08:40:27","date_gmt":"2024-05-15T03:10:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/?p=1281655"},"modified":"2024-05-15T08:40:47","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T03:10:47","slug":"drivers-earning-rs-5-4-crore-month-after-quitting-ola-uber-using-namma-yatri-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/drivers-earning-rs-5-4-crore-month-after-quitting-ola-uber-using-namma-yatri-app\/","title":{"rendered":"Drivers Earning Rs 5.4 Crore\/Month After Quitting Ola, Uber &#038; Using Namma Yatri App"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It appears that after Ola &amp; Uber, Bengaluru&#8217;s homegrown mobility app, Namma Yatri, has now entered the game in the app-based taxi booking market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"465\" src=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ify-33-1.png\" alt=\"Drivers Earning Rs 5.4 Crore\/Month After Quitting Ola, Uber &amp; Using Namma Yatri App\" class=\"wp-image-1281665\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ify-33-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ify-33-1-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/trak.in\/stories\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ify-33-1-768x357.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cab Drivers Earning More Money&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently, it was in reports when it launched cab services in the tech capital.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems like a game changer as this app helped cab drivers earn \u20b95.4 crore within a month of launching the services in Bengaluru, as per the media <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hindustantimes.com\/cities\/bengaluru-news\/cab-drivers-in-bengaluru-make-rs-5-4-crore-in-a-month-using-namma-yatri-report-101715505087280.html\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further declaring that the cab drivers are making \u20b9800 higher than what they used to earn per day earlier by registering themselves in Namma Yatri.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Basically, this app runs on a zero-commission model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that the commission is not collected but a subscription charge, this saves 25-30% of daily earnings for drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month alone, a total of 1.75 lakh trips were completed&nbsp; and it also has 6500 to 7500 users who are commuting using Namma Yatri daily.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Did This Happen?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe transparent payment method where the driver gets money immediately after the customer pays is drawing the driver\u2019s trust on the app. Namma Yatri is giving a comfortable and hassle-free experience to both drivers and passengers, and the growth is the result of it,\u201d said the spokesperson of Namma Yatri in a statement.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present, Namma Yatri is offering non-AC minis, AC minis, and Sedan and XL cabs in its fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;They have introduced the new Non-AC mini cabs as there were frequent misunderstandings between drivers and customers regarding AC usage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Further, the service provider has set clear service expectations and competitive pricing for budget-conscious customers while promoting eco-friendly rides, according to&nbsp; Namma Yatri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their cabs also accommodate special requests such ad&nbsp; disability-friendly rides, extra luggage, traveling with pets, and trips to public transport hubs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have taken a total of 25,000 cab drivers on board about a month ago.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It appears that after Ola &amp; Uber, Bengaluru&#8217;s homegrown mobility app, Namma Yatri, has now entered the game in the app-based taxi booking market.
