As part of a larger plan to embed artificial intelligence (AI) features into its devices, Apple Inc. is getting close to an agreement<\/a> with OpenAI to integrate the startup’s technology inside the iPhone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is anticipated that the partnership will include the integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT capabilities into Apple’s planned iOS 18, the upcoming iPhone operating system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple\u2019s Closes in On Deal With OpenAI <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have also been discussions between Apple and Google regarding the licensing of Google’s Gemini chatbot, but no deal has been made as of yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of OpenAI’s technology, Apple will be able to provide a well-liked chatbot as one of its next artificial intelligence capabilities. These will be unveiled at the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s word that talks with OpenAI have gotten more serious, but there’s no assurance that a deal will be signed anytime soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Google, Apple, and OpenAI representatives have declined to comment on the situation. It is anticipated that a portion of Apple’s planned AI features will be powered by data centers that have the company’s own internal processors installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apple CEO Tim Cook has previously said that he personally uses ChatGPT from OpenAI, although he has also pointed out several problems that need to be fixed. Apple has committed to introducing AI technologies into its products on a “very thoughtful basis.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
